Join us in The Tasting Room at Whiskey Del Bac Saturday, September 6th from 3 to 6 pm to celebrate the return of our highest-rated and most-awarded special release – Batch 4 of Normandie!

The event is free to attend but we do request your RSVP here.

Past releases have pulled in two 93 point ratings from Whisky Advocate, a gold from American Craft Spirits Association, and a four star rating from the Whiskey Wash.

This year, we’ve switched things up a little.

For the past three years Normandie has consisted of our 100% unsmoked single malt, then finished for over a year in a mix of Calvados barrel. For Batch 4, we’ve added the lightest kiss of smoke to the blend.

Expect tastings of the new release, cocktails, and pours of other Whiskey Del Bac offerings.

We’ll be joined by Master Distiller & Blender Mark A. Vierthaler for bottle signings and conversations about the new release, live music from Excelsior Jazz Trio and food for purchase from Parkie Sandwich. Parkie Sandwich will even be incorporating our Whiskey Del Bac Classic into their dessert and their BBQ sauce! You won’t want to miss this!

Bottles and cocktails will be available to purchase. A portion of the proceeds from the event will go to the Coalition for Sonoran Desert Protection to further their mission to protect the ecosystems and wildlife corridors of the Sonoran Desert in Southern Arizona from short-sighted development.

Bottle sales go live on our website at 8 AM MST on Saturday, September 6 with bottle pick-ups starting at 11 AM at the distillery.
