Join us at the distillery from 3:00 to 6:00 PM on Saturday, February 15, for the official 2025 Frontera release party!
Food from Parkie Sandwiches, with live music from Mariachi Luz de Luna from 3:45-4:45 PM.
Enjoy cocktails, samples of Batch 4 of Frontera, and other Whiskey Del Bac offerings!
Only 1,400 bottles were produced this year, and retail for $90 a piece.
One of our most awarded releases, Frontera has earned 93 points from Whisky Advocate magazine and a Platinum and Best of Show Finalist from the TAG Global Spirits Awards.
This year, we’ve switched things up a little.
For the past three years Frontera has consisted of our 100% unsmoked single malt, then finished for over a year in a mix of PX sherry butts.
For Batch 4, we’ve added the lightest kiss of smoke to the blend.
“We’re constantly looking at ways to elevate our whiskeys,” said Master Distiller & Blender Mark A. Vierthaler. “Whiskey Del Bac was born from a profound love the Sonoran Desert, and the distinctive notes of mesquite smoke embody the desert’s allure.”
But don’t fret if you’re not a big fan of smoke bombs.
“The smoke adds a beautiful complexity, but is so gentle even those most sensitive to smoke will be able to enjoy it,” Vierthaler said.
Bottles go on sale Saturday morning at 9:00 AM, or can be picked-up in person during the release party!
