My name is Brandon Nurre. I am 24 years old and originally from Tucson, Arizona. I am currently the Lead Bartender at Rough Rider in Downtown Phoenix.
The cocktail I am choosing to present is called “The Sidewinder”, which pays omage to the minor league baseball team based in Tucson. One of my most fond memories while growing up was attending those baseball games with my family.
As we are approaching the colder months, I wanted to curate a cocktail that highlights the tasting notes of red apples, and baking spices that I find prominent within the Dorado expression.

Ingredients
2 oz Browned butter fatwashed Del Bac Dorado
3/4 oz Lemon juice
1/2 oz Grapefruit juice
3/4 oz Toasted pecan apple orgeat
1/4 oz Amaro Nonino
1/4 oz Allspice Dram
1 dash of Angostura bitters
Shaken with draft ice
Strain over a large cube in a rocks glass
Garnish with a dehydrated apple, cherry, and toasted rosemary
